The Village of Rio Grande is governed by a Mayor, six member Council, and three member Board of Public Affairs. They are:
The Council meets the second Monday of each month at 6:30 P.M. in Room #3, the Village Council Chambers, in the Rio Grande Municipal Building.
The Board of Public Affairs meets the second Monday of each month at 6:00 P.M. in Room #2 of the Rio Grande Municipal Building.
